One step at a time

You don't need to know it all already.

We start with how the equipment works, then move on to rhythm, cueing and transitions between tracks.

No equipment yet? Before you buy, we discuss what suits your goals and budget. You don't need to buy anything just to ask.

Your learning path

Choose your goal. We'll find the right pace together.

Each lesson lasts 60 minutes. If you're unsure which package suits you, we start with a conversation.

From explanation to practice

What we work on together.

01 · The foundations

Get to know your system.

Music library, controls, audio levels and headphone monitoring. We work with the system you will use.

02 · The transitions

Listen, practise, improve.

Beat, musical phrases and transitions between tracks. Watch a demonstration, practise and identify what needs adjusting together.

03 · Your set

Give your music a sequence.

Track selection, flow, preparation and recording. We connect individual exercises with the goal of your package.

With practice between lessons, you build your own set step by step. In the first package, we work towards a one-hour set, adapting the pace to your experience and the time you spend practising.

Before you start

Quick answers.

I have no experience. Is this for me?

Yes. Private lessons start with the basics and build through practice, at your own pace.

How do online lessons work?

One-to-one, live over the internet. Before starting, we discuss your equipment, connection and cueing setup for the practical work.

Do I need to buy equipment now?

You don't need equipment to get in touch. Tell me what you already have, and we'll discuss what you need before you buy anything.

What do I need for a live online lesson?

Before we finalise the lesson format, we check your computer and system, headphones, connection, and how your music will be heard and your controls seen. You do not need to choose a specific equipment model before this discussion.

Will I be able to play for an hour after four lessons?

That is the goal we work towards together in the first package. With practice between lessons and a review of your basic transitions, you build your set at your own pace.

Do I pay when I book a time?

No. Booking on Cal.com reserves the lesson time and does not ask for payment. You will know the final cost before your first lesson.

The next step

Tell me where you're starting from.

You don't need to have chosen a package. Tell me whether you're interested in Paphos or online lessons, and what you'd like to learn.
